Prasäda—“mercy”; conventionally refers to food or other items
received from the Supreme Lord after having been formally offered
to Him in worship, or to similar items received from high-level
devotees.
Prema—love, especially for Kåñëa.
Prema-bhakti—the highest level of pure spontaneous devotion to
Kåñëa.
Pure devotee—a devotee whose only desire is to please Kåñëa
through pure devotional service.
Pure devotional service—devotional service performed solely for
the pleasure of Kåñëa, uncontaminated by any other motive.
Puré—(1) the holy place in Odisha that is the principal abode of
Lord Jagannätha; (2) any town; (3) a sannyäsa title.
(Çrématé) Rädhä, Rädhäräëé, Rädhikä—Lord Kåñëa’s internal
potency and most intimate consort.
Räga—musical mode.
Räsa(-lélä)—the circular dance of Kåñëa with the gopés, the most
celebrated of Kåñëa’s pastimes (described in Çrémad-Bhägavatam,
Tenth Canto, chapters twenty-nine through thirty-three).
Räsa-maëòala—the circular arena of the räsa-lélä.
Räsa-yäträ—a festival in honor of Kåñëa’s räsa-lélä.
Ratha-yäträ—the annual festival in Puré and other places for pulling
the deities of Lord Jagannätha, Lord Balaräma, and Subhadrä-devé
in procession on huge decorated canopied chariots.
