शोक: कुत्र मद: क् कुत्र प्वषया: क्रो्: क् काम: क् ्वा ।
रोभ: कुत्र ्तम: क् कुत्र मरणाद्भीप्त: क् ्वा मतसर:

क: से्व्त न ्ते ्स् ु रद्गुणकथिां सतकथयमानां बु्: ॥ ९८ ॥
tāpāḥ kutra kathāmṛtāni pibataḥ kvāsau punaḥ saṁsṛtiḥ
śokaḥ kutra madaḥ kva kutra viṣayāḥ krodhaḥ kva kāmaḥ kva vā |
lobhaḥ kutra tamaḥ kva kutra maraṇād bhītiḥ kva vā matsaraḥ
kaḥ seveta na te sphurad-guṇa-kathāṁ sat-kathyamānāṁ budhaḥ ||98||
