Rāmāyaṇa
ā ya a son of Lord Śiva and Pārvatī. He is the
presiding deity of warfare. Also known as Subrahmaṇya
or Skanda.
a ya a a great saint who was the father of many
living beings, including most of the demigods, and
also of the Supreme Lord’s incarnation Vāmana; one of the
seven mental sons of Lord Brahmā.
a a yā the first wife of Mahārāja Daśaratha, and the
mother of Lord Rāma.
yā the forest abode of the monkeys who helped
Lord Rāma.
ṇa the original, two-armed form of the Supreme
Lord, who is the origin of all Viṣṇu forms, including that of
Lord Rāma.
ṇa the perfectional stage of always
thinking of Kṛṣṇa.

who enters within each atom and into the heart of every
living entity.
a an auspicious grass used in Vedic rituals and sacrifices.

a maṇa a younger brother of Lord Rāmacandra. He
accompanied Rāma and Sītā in Their exile.
a m the goddess of fortune and the eternal consort
of the Supreme Lord as Lord Nārāyaṇa, who resides in the
unlimited spiritual realm of Vaikuṇṭha. Sītā is an expansion
of Lakṣmī, as Rāma is of Nārāyaṇa.
a ā a a generic term for a demigod presiding over one
of the directions of the universe.
