Rāmāyaṇa
a wife of Kaśyapa Muni, and the mother of the
demons known as the Daityas.

empowered by the Supreme Lord to preside over the
material nature and bewilder the souls situated there
into misconceiving themselves to be their material bodies,
and enjoyers and controllers of the mundane creation.

powerful yogi famous being easily angered and pronouncing
fearful curses.
