By reading Srila Prabhupada’s books I also get inspiration to
share this knowledge with others. People are so much misled
and so much in need of these books.

Activities for personal development and those for preaching
are interlinked in Krsna Consciousness. So it’s good that you
go to S for some time so as to go deeper into the activities
in Krsna consciousness especially meant for personal
development. And the test of progress will be your increased
inspiration to share Krsna consciousness with others.

Your statement, “seeing Srila Prabhupada is like seeing you
(me)” is embarrassing to me. Srila Prabhupada is like a mighty
sun and I a tiny star. I pray to him to always represent him
           properly.

“Bhakti” means “devotional service to Lord Krsna.” Vikasa
means “expansion or development.” “Swami” means
“master”—in this context, “master of the senses.” So “Bhakti
Vikasa Swami” indicates a sannyasi whose service is to expand
           devotional service to Lord Krsna.

The two statements you have cited are only apparently
contradictory. Both are correct, depending on which angle
of vision you take. Anyone who takes to Krsna consciousness
is certainly more fortunate than anyone who doesn’t, even if
the aspiring devotee falls down before achieving perfection.
On the other hand, who could be more unfortunate than a
person who gives up nectar to drink poison?

Don’t worry for anything. Chant Hare Krsna, preach and be
           happy. Krsna will protect you.

It’s bad news that devotees are not so committed to the
D preaching. But it is such a good place for preaching that
