Braja Hari Dāsa left home and joined ISKCON in 1984. For
several years he led ISKCON Mumbai’s outstanding book
distribution department, before becoming involved in
temple management. Since 1995 he has been managing
ISKCON’s famous temple at Juhu in Mumbai and is
known for his dutifulness, humility, and calm manner
of dealing with even the most difficult situations.
Lokanātha Swami needs no introduction to members
of ISKCON. One of the first Indian devotees to remain
steady within our society, Lokanātha Swami became
globally known for initiating Pādayātras (walking
festivals) in over 100 countries, and for organizing
preparations for the Śrīla Prabhupāda Centennial.
Lokanātha Swami continues to travel, preach, write, and
lead the joyful kīrtanas he is famous for.
Narmadā Swami left his automobile business and
grown-up family in 1976 at the age of 48 in search for the
purpose of life. He joined ISKCON in 1981 and accepted
sannyāsa in 1985. After many years of managerial service
with the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust in Mumbai, he passed
away in Kārtika 2006 in the sacred land of Vṛndāvana.
R. Raṅganāthan is from a traditional Śrī Vaiṣṇava family
in South India and is now based in Dubai. In 1998, along
