careful preaching to so that this sentimental pseudo-devotional
           attachment be broken.

Good to hear that you are recruiting helpers for book
distribution. Krsna is giving you transcendental intelligence how
to spread His mission. Srila Prabhupada always told his disciples
to “double it!” Whatever book distribution you are doing now,
double it. And then again, double it. So one way to increase the
distribution is to recruit helpers. Another way is to expand your
field of activities to outlying towns and villages. Another way is
to sell more and more books to those who already have them.
Blessings to be a good disciple? Chant 16 rounds, distribute
books, and study them also. That is a good disciple.

Regarding putting books into stores–do it. This is a very good
program which Srila Prabhupada very much wanted. The book
stores always require a rebate. ISKCON M regularly distributes
books to stores at BBt price. They make no profit, but the books
get distributed. In book distribution, at least in poor countries
like India, profit is not our aim. We just want to see the books
           widely distributed.
Again you ask me to bless you to become a perfect disciple.
Becoming a perfect disciple is not simply a matter of blessings.
One has to hear and follow the instructions. When one is
prepared to surrender fully, then blessings will act. Mercy is there
for everyone to take but we also have to become eager enough to
           receive that mercy.

In our parampara, especially since the time of Srila
Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, emphasis has been
firmly on the brhad-mrdanga: publishing and distributing
transcendental books. Srila Prabhupada was personally told by
Srila Bhaktisiddhanta: “If you ever get money, print books.”
