The only thing you have to be very careful about is becoming
caught up in too much committees, positions, and politics. That
tendency is there wherever there is any organization. But as
long as the simple basics are kept in the forefront—i.e. hearing
and chanting about, and serving, Lord Sri Krsna; then all
auspiciousness is guaranteed.
So, let us forget again the less fortunate incident in H and go
forward positively in our march back to Godhead, accepting all
such disturbances as educational and meant for our purification.

I’m writing to find out about purchasing a Matador van. I don’t
have money now but I’d like to know how much I would have to
raise. Of course, our party has a DCM Toyota vehicle, but I’m
thinking that if we had another vehicle we could organize our
preaching much more efficiently. An advance party could arrange
programs and then when we reach the town, the DCM could go
on with book distribution in the bazaar while the Matador takes
me to the programs.

Regarding the Ramajanmabhumi issue, ISKCON’s position is
that there should be a Rama temple there, and indeed in every
town and village; to this end ISKCON’s members are always busy
spreading the names of Lord Krsna and Lord Rama all over the
world. Although individual members of ISKCON will tend to
sympathize with the kar-sevaks, ISKCON as an organization is
not taking a stand on the issue. 1
There are several reasons for this. One is that it has produced
highly sectarian feelings between Hindus and Muslims. But
